What can I expect from therapy?

I provide an array of Behavioral health services to adolescents, adults and families.  I use and incorporate various treatment modalities within the realm of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), along with other evidence-based approaches.

I work from an auto-plastic perspective, which means that I focus on helping the individual change internally in order to buffer the psychological disruptions that interfere with daily functioning.  

Goals for therapy are always established through collaboration with the client.  I will work with you to ensure we develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to your individual life circumstances.  The overall objective for therapy is always the successful resolution of problems that are deemed the most important through this collaborative process.

I also work from a structural/strategic orientation, which means that I assist the client and family in organizing their relationship so that resources can be brought to bear on the problems being presented.
